Alaska F1 – the newest hybrid variety of medium ripening potatoes. Bred by breeders of the Ural Agricultural Research Center. Potato "Alaska" included in the State Sort Register of the Russian Federation in 2020, zoned for the Volga-Vyatka and Far Eastern regions.
Variety advantages:
- strong immunity to diseases and pests;
- consistently high yields;
- excellent taste.
Varie Features
Shrubsof intermediate type, semi-erect, of medium height. The foliage is medium-sized, dark green. Corolla medium, weak anthocyanin coloration on the inside.
Tubersoval, large, weighing 98-149 grams. The surface is smooth with small eyes. Peel – red color, pulp – cream. The taste of ready-made potatoes – a great. The starch content is 14.0-18.5%. Tasting assessment – 4.5 points out of 5. Keeping quality - 95%.
Productivity variety "Alaska": commercial – 187-400 q/ha; maximum – 451 q/ha. 12-16 tubers are harvested from one bush. Of these, commodity – 86-87%.
Immunity to cancer and golden potato nematode. Average susceptibility – to the causative agent of late blight on tops and tubers, to twisting of leaves, wrinkled, striped mosaic.
Benefits of meristem seedlings:
- Purified of viruses, pathogenic bacteria and fungi.
- Easier to adapt to any climatic and soil conditions.
- Give earlier and higher marketable yields.
- Allows you to get the maximum amount of planting material for further reproduction.
