Strawberry Malga (Malga®) – a native of sunny Italy, bred by breeder Franco Zenti, has gained popularity among Russian gardeners.
This variety of garden strawberries is suitable for growing in open ground, outside the ground, in film tunnels. Hardy, strong Malga during the season produces many large sweet berries with hints of taste and aroma of wild strawberries.
The fruits of Malga are large, average weight 25-30 gr., Maximum 45 – 50 g. The shape of a strawberry resembles an oblong cone. The color of the berries is rich red with a glossy sheen. From harvest to harvest, the berry retains its ideal presentation. The advantage of "Malga" – resistance to storage and transportation in boxes, which is achieved due to the high density of berries. With a marketable appearance, Malga is ideal for sale. With competent agricultural technology, the yield of a variety can reach 4.5 kg per bush.
