The minituber category is the original seed potato, the primary (highest) stage of seed production, obtained in vitro (i.e. in vitro) from the propagation of a healthy source material

Terra – table variety of potatoes of a very early ripening period. Bred by breeders of the Ural Agricultural Research Center. Included in the State Sort Register of the Russian Federation in 2020 for the Volga-Vyatka and West Siberian regions

Varie Features

Shrubsleaf type, low. The foliage is closed, large and medium in size, bright green. The corolla is medium, white, sometimes with a slightly pronounced anthocyanin coloration on the inside.

Tubes round-oval, large, weighing – 100-130 grams. The surface is even and smooth with occasional eyes of medium depth. The skin and flesh are yellow. Tasting assessment – 4.0-4.2 points out of 5. Starch content – 15.5-16.5%. Keeping –97%.

Productivity of the "Terra" variety: commercial – 171-460 q/ha; on the 45th day after germination – 110-172 c/ha, on the 55th day (second digging) – 182-264 q/ha. Maximum productivity – 610 q/ha. 10-12 tubers are harvested from one bush. Marketability of the crop – 88%.

Immunity to potato cancer, golden nematode, wrinkled and banded mosaic. Average susceptibility – to late blight on tops and tubers
