Seed potatoes Kuznechanka

Potato variety Kuznechanka was bred by the staff of the Siberian Federal Scientific Center for Agrobiotechnologies of the Russian Academy of Sciences. In 2009, the variety was included in the State Register of the Russian Federation with permission for cultivation in Western and Eastern Siberia, the Volga-Vyatka region.

Variety advantages: high yield, good yield of marketable tubers, resistance to frequent weather changes.

Variety features

Plant of intermediate type. Bushes up to 60 cm high, semi-erect with strong stems and closed foliage. Corollas – large, with anthocyanin coloring on the inside.

Tubers round-oval, large. The weight of marketable fruits is 104-150 gr. The peel of ripe potatoes is red with eyes of medium depth. Pulp – creamy, tasty, starch content 12-16%.

Assignment of the variety – canteen. Marketability – 76-97%. Keeping – 95%.

Productivity «Kuznechanki»: marketable – 183-383 centners per hectare; maximum – 482 cents; from the bush – 6-11 tubers. Potato ripening terms – medium early, growing season 75-80 days.

Immunity to the causative agent of cancer. Susceptibility to golden cyst nematode.

Growing conditions. Potato Kuznechanka is unpretentious in care, hardy to temperature extremes. Suitable for growing in Siberia, Central Russia, the Far East.
