Seed potatoes Kemerovochanin

The newest variety of potatoes «Kemerovochanin» bred by a group of Novosibirsk scientists of the Siberian Scientific Center for Agrobiotechnologies of the Russian Academy of Sciences. In 2013, potatoes were included in the State Sort Register of the Russian Federation for the West and East Siberian regions.

Variety advantages: stable yield, adaptability to the Siberian climate, immunity to cancer and golden nematode.

Variety Features

Plant of intermediate type. The bush is tall, semi-erect with dark green leaves of medium size. The inflorescences are small, practically without anthocyanin coloration on the inside.

Tubers oval, weighing 110-155 gr. The skin is yellowish-beige in color, with shallow eyes. The pulp is yellow, tasty, starch – 15.5-16.4%.

Variety purpose: table. Marketability – 79-97%. Keeping – 94%.

Productivity "Kemerovo" commercial – 165-387 c/ha, maximum – 488 q/ha. Potato ripening terms – medium early, 65-80 days from the moment of planting.

Immunity to cancer and golden cyst nematode. The variety is relatively resistant to late blight.

Growing conditions. "Kemerovo" refers to cold-resistant varieties of potatoes. Ideal climate for growing – Siberian. The culture will produce good yields in other "cool" regions. In southern latitudes with hot summers, potatoes will need frequent watering.
