The minituber category is the original seed potato, the primary (highest) stage of seed production, obtained in vitro (i.e. in vitro) from the propagation of a healthy source material
Bravo – a promising variety of potatoes of medium early ripening, adapted to a variety of climatic conditions. Differs in stably high productivity, a large number of large, marketable tubers. Bred by a group of scientists from the Ural Agricultural Research Center. Included in the State Sort Register of the Russian Federation in 2015. It is zoned according to the Volga-Vyatka, West Siberian and Ural regions.
Variety advantages:
- corrected tuber size;
- stable yield;
- unpretentiousness in the care and quality of the soil;
- high immunity to diseases and pests;
- tolerance to cold, heat and drought.
Varie Features
Shrubsof intermediate type, semi-erect, of medium height. The foliage is large, dark green. Corollas of weak anthocyanin color.
Tubesround, large and medium size, weighing 80-180 gr. The surface is smooth, with rare eyes of medium depth. Peel – pinkish-red color. The flesh is light yellow.
Taste – good. The starch content is 13-15.2%. Tasting assessment – 4.5 points out of 5. Purpose of potatoes: table. Fruit keeping quality is high – 93%.
Productivity variety "Bravo": marketable– 210-377 centners per hectare, maximum – 460 q/ha. 16-22 tubers are harvested from one bush. Quantity of commodity tubers – 72-98%.
Immunityto potato cancer and golden potato cyst nematode. Average resistance to late blight, wrinkled and striped mosaic, viral diseases. Weakly affected by common scab.
Benefits of meristem seedlings:
- Purified of viruses, pathogenic bacteria and fungi.
- Easier to adapt to any climatic and soil conditions.
- Allows you to get the maximum amount of planting material for further reproduction.
- Give earlier and higher marketable yields.
