An annual herbaceous plant. The flower got its name from the Latin word "mirabilis"; – amazing. Flowers of various colors bloom in the afternoon and wither the next morning. The flowers are funnel-shaped, 3-5 cm in diameter, one, two or three colors. Mirabilis is very warm and photophilous. A sunny place in the flower garden is assigned to him. It grows well on fertile, loamy soils. It is drought-resistant, but does not bloom with a lack of moisture, so watering should be moderate, but regular. Seeds for seedlings are sown from mid-March to April or in open ground in early May.
Friendly shoots appear after 4-6 days at a temperature of 18-20 °C. Mirabilis tubers can be preserved like dahlia tubers. This plant is beautiful in combination with phlox, salvia, as well as white gypsophila and alyssum.
