An annual plant. Ampelous variety with profusely flowering hanging shoots. Lobelia is cold-resistant, light and moisture-loving. During the dry period at high air temperatures, it does not grow well and may stop flowering. Soils need loose, nutritious, but without an excess of organic fertilizers. This plant is grown in seedlings. Sowing is carried out in the second half of March-early April. The soil is carefully leveled and slightly compacted, moistened and seeds are scattered over the surface. From above, the seeds are not sprinkled with anything, but covered with glass or film and periodically sprinkled with water from a sprayer. At a temperature of 18-20 °C shoots appear in 10-15 days.
Borders, ridges, carpet flower beds are made from lobelia. It looks great in hanging baskets, planters, flowerpots and balcony boxes.
