A perennial plant grown as an annual and indoor plant. New series "Rosita" – terry lisianthus standard. The position of flowers with dense petals, above the stems, reduces problems with Botrytis during transport. Various attractive colors, including red, retain their decorative effect for a long time. New series "Rosita" differs in flowers in the form of a rose.
The soil is light. Add sand, peat and crushed bark or orchid substrate to the soil. The optimum temperature for growing Lisianthus is 18-22°C. A bright location is required, but it should be shaded from direct sunlight. Watering is moderate. Winter temperature is not lower than 15°C. If the faded stems of Lisianthus are cut off, leaving at least two pairs of leaves, then new peduncles will soon grow from them. Seeds are sown on the surface of the soil. If necessary, you can sprinkle the seeds with vermiculite to maintain a sufficient level of moisture. The optimum temperature is 20-21°C, light is needed for germination. Shoots appear in 10-14 days. When the plant has two pairs of true leaves, they are ready to be transplanted to a permanent place. You can’t delay the transplant.
