The soil is light. Add sand, peat and crushed bark or orchid substrate to the soil. The optimum temperature for growing Lisianthus is 18-22 °C. A bright location is required, but it should be shaded from direct sunlight. Watering is moderate. Winter temperature is not lower than 15 °C. If the faded stems of Lisianthus are cut off, leaving at least two pairs of leaves, then new peduncles will soon grow from them. Seeds are sown on the surface of the soil.
