Gold medal at the All-German Exhibition in Potsdam. An annual plant with branched stems at the top. Numerous flowers, 3-4 cm in diameter, blood-red color, silky. In the center of the corolla – peephole. Flax is cold-resistant, photophilous. It grows best on light and fertile soils. Very unpretentious and does not require special care. Sow in the ground in early spring. It is better to sow in nests of 3-4 seeds. At a temperature of 18-20°C shoots appear in 8-14 days. Winter crops are doing well. From flax, rabatkas are beautiful, groups on the lawn.
It is used in mixborders, with other flyers in mixed borders when creating a Moorish lawn.
