Perennial grown as a biennial. Dwarf plant with large (4-5 cm in diameter), fragrant double flowers, collected in 3-7 pieces, of various colors. Blooms in the second year after sowing. A well-developed bush has up to 50 peduncles. Carnation is photophilous, cold and drought resistant. Prefers fertile, non-acidic, loamy garden soil, does not tolerate waterlogging and especially stagnant water. Responds well to fertilizing with mineral fertilizers. Seeds are sown in open ground in May - June. At a temperature of 15 - 18 degrees, seedlings appear in 10-14 days, they are planted in a permanent place in August.
Used in group plantings, borders, flower beds, massifs, rocky hills.
