The most popular climbing annual. Purple – red, very fragrant, collected in racemes of 3-6 or more, flowers bloom profusely from July to autumn frosts. Seeds before sowing should be soaked for a day in hot (50 ° C) and kept in a humid environment (wet sand, sawdust) for 2-3 days. Plants that have reached 10 cm in height must be pinched for better tillering. This fast-growing plant is photophilous, cold-resistant and moisture-loving. For landing, you must choose places protected from the wind.

Sweet peas are ideal for planting on the south side of fences, arbors; great for creating special shapes in flower beds or against a lawn; also good for cutting.
