Sweet pepper Golden Miracle

Variety of sweet pepper «Golden Miracle» bred by breeders of the Poisk agricultural firm near Moscow; in the early 2000s and adapted to growing in cool climates. In 2007, the variety was included in the State Register & nbsp; RF with permission for cultivation in open ground and greenhouses in most Russian regions.

Variety advantages: high seed germination, large fruits, cold resistance, adaptation to any climate, undemanding care, long fruiting period, versatility of use, ideal presentation and good transportability.

Characteristics of the variety

Shrub semi-spreading, compact, with a powerful root system. Height up to 50-65 cm (in open ground); up to 70 cm (in a greenhouse). Foliage is average. The leaf plate is wide, slightly wrinkled with a pointed end. The shoots are fragile, can break under the weight of the fruit. An ovary of two flowers is formed on one fruit branch.

Fruitsdrooping, prismatic elongated shape. The average mass of pepper – 185-200 gr., length – 13-14 cm, width – 7-8 cm

The wall is fleshy, thick – 0.7-1.0 cm. The peel is glossy, dark yellow, in technical ripeness –  green. Number of seed nests 3-4.

The taste of pepper is sweet, juicy, with a pronounced vegetable aroma.

Purpose: Peppers are consumed fresh, used in cooking, canned and frozen. Due to the resistance to transportation and high commercial qualities, the variety "Golden Miracle" suitable for commercial cultivation.

The yieldof marketable fruits in the greenhouse is 2.6 kg per square meter, in the open field it decreases. Ripening time – mid-season. Fruit picking starts at the end of July. Fruiting of the "Golden Miracle" continues until the autumn frosts.

Immunity to Fusarium. Good resistance to most diseases and pests. Preventive treatment – recommended.

Growing conditions. Cold-resistant bell pepper variety "Golden Miracle" suitable for growing in almost any climate zone. It takes root well and bears fruit, both in open and protected ground.

Regions: Central, Central Black Earth, Northern and Northwestern, Volga-Vyatka, Middle and Lower Volga, Urals, Western and Eastern Siberia, Far East, Caucasus.

Term of planting in open ground: southern regions – May; northern – beginning of June.
