Mycorrhiza BAC Funki Fungi includes 4 species of Mycorrhizas. Mycorrhizal comes from Greek and means "mushroom root". It is a symbiosis of plants with certain fungi. They are ideally suited to find water and minerals in the soil and transfer them to the plant. The plant, in turn, produces the necessary elements that serve as nutrients for the fungus. These fungi grow in and around the roots of plants. From the roots comes their further development into the soil, where they create a dense labyrinth of mycelium. This enlarges the root system, resulting in improved absorption of water and minerals. The mushroom picker can access soil in cavities that are too small for plant roots
