Sea buckthorn Inya — large-fruited variety of early ripening, bred at the Research Institute of Horticulture of Siberia named after. M.A. Lisavenko by free pollination of sea buckthorn «Panteleevskaya». It was accepted for state variety testing in 1994, and in 2001 it was included in the State Register of the Russian Federation with a permit for cultivation in the West Siberian and Volga-Vyatka regions.

Characteristics of the variety
Shrub tree-like, multi-stemmed, of medium height. The crown is spreading, not thickened. The branches are brown, moving away from the trunks at an acute angle. Spines sparse, weak. The foliage is yellowish-green, large, lanceolate.
Fruitscylindrical, large, weighing about 0.95-1 g. Peel – elastic, red-orange, with large brightly colored spots at the base of the stem. Pulp – thick, fragrant. Taste – sweet and sour. Tasting assessment – 4 points out of 5. Breakaway – semi-dry.
Purpose fruits: technical. Berries are suitable for various types of processing. They can also be consumed fresh, used as a traditional medicine.
Productivity and terms of fruiting. Sea buckthorn Inya begins to yield already in the second year of planting, reaches the yield of – 161.5 q/ha. Berries ripen early – first half of August.
Immunity. With proper care, the variety is practically not affected by diseases and pests.
Growing conditions. Sea buckthorn Yin is distinguished by its unpretentiousness to growth conditions and high frost resistance. Winters without additional shelter. The variety is suitable for growing in regions with cold winters and sudden temperature changes: in Siberia, the Urals and the Far East, as well as in Central Russia.
