Pink Blueberry Pink Lemonade – a hybrid obtained in 2009 by crossing varieties Eshi, Darrow, Shchitkovaya. It took American breeders ten years to breed this unusual blueberry.
From their "parents" Pink Lemonade inherited only strong characteristics. From Esha – appearance, leaf texture, size and shape of berries. From Darrow – evergreen foliage and excellent taste. From Shchitkova – bush shape and frost resistance.

Variety Features
Plantpowerful, tall, 1.8-2.5 m in height. Crown width up to 1.6 m. The root system is fibrous, dense, 60-70 cm in diameter, goes 40 cm deep. Bush – thickened with numerous shoots. Foliage oval, bright green. The leaf plate is shiny. In the spring, blueberries bloom with bell-like white flowers with a pink tint, in the summer they are covered with a bright pink berry. All season, Pink Lemonade bushes serve as a decoration for any garden.
Fruits of Pink Lemonade are rounded, small, 5-7 mm in diameter. The skin of ripe berries is bright pink with a white bloom. Pulp – firm, sweet, aromatic. During transportation, blueberries do not wrinkle and do not flow.
Purpose of the variety: The fruits can be eaten fresh, used to prepare and decorate desserts, preparations for the winter – jams, compotes, etc.
Yield and maturity. For a season, one bush of Pink Lemonade gives 3-4 kg of blueberries. Harvesting takes place in August-September.
Immunity. Pink blueberries are rarely affected by diseases and pests. As a preventive measure, spring treatment with biological products and good drainage of the soil around the bushes are recommended.
Growing conditions. Blueberries Pink Lemonade are frost-resistant varieties. Bushes are not afraid of frosts, they successfully winter at – 29-34 °C.In general, the variety is not whimsical to growing conditions and care. It is important to choose the right soil for planting blueberries, it must be nutritious (preferably with peat), acidic (pH 3.5-5.0) and well drained.
Pink Lemonade – self-fertile, i.e. able to set fruit without cross-pollination with other plants. But for maximum yield, we recommend planting at least one other blueberry bush nearby.
Selection of seedlings

- The root system – developed, moist, without breaks. Preferably closed type (with a clod of earth).
