Soil for seedlings from RTK

A ready-made nutrient mixture of peat with neutral acidity for seedlings of vegetables (tomatoes, cucumbers, cabbage, zucchini, peppers, etc.), berries and flowers.

Composition:

  • Mixture of peat of varying degrees of decomposition.
  • Limestone flour – acid neutralizer.
  • Azophoska – complex nitrogen-phosphorus-potassium fertilizer.
  • Agroperlite – fertilizer from volcanic rock.

Nutritional content:

(in plant-friendly form)

  • Nitrogen (NH4 + N03) ≤120 mg/l
  • Phosphorus (P2O5) ≤140 mg/l
  • Potassium (K2O) ≤160 mg/l

Applications

  1. Growing seedlings in the traditional way

In containers for seedlings (pots, boxes, etc.), peat soil is poured, watered abundantly. Seeds are sown. Sprinkle on top with the same substrate, cover with polyethylene or glass. After the emergence of seedlings, the seedlings are exposed to a bright place. As it dries, water it with water at room temperature.

  1. Growing seedlings like a micro-greenhouse

The bag with peat soil is shaken well and placed horizontally on a pallet. Several  holes (2x2cm) are cut in the upper part of the package for sowing seeds. From below, incisions are made 3 cm long at an angle of 45°; for drainage. The soil is poured through the holes. Then seeds are sown in the formed holes or seedlings are planted.

The plastic bag turns into a micro-greenhouse. The peat soil in it warms up well and remains moist longer, creating a favorable climate for the growth and development of seedlings.

  1. Introducing peat mixture into holes and furrows

When transplanting seedlings to a permanent place, peat nutrient mixture is poured into planting holes or trenches 0.5-1.0 l. on the plant, after mixing with the soil dug out of them. Lightly compact and water.

  1. Feeding vegetative plants

When the soil is compacted, the roots of the plant may be exposed. They are sprinkled with fresh peat  substrate and moisturized.

  1. Basic dressing

Nutritious peat soil is brought into the soil by beds, greenhouses, flower beds, etc. at the rate of 5-10 liters. by 1 m².
