What is peat nutrient substrate

Peat nutrient substrate (TPS) – a ready-made universal product based on peat, with a neutral pH of 5.5-5.6 and the addition of PGMix fertilizer. TPS helps to achieve the maximum crop yield and improve its quality.

The peat substrate meets all the requirements of the nutrient and soil environment:

  • Uniformity and low bulk density.
  • Free from infections and weed seeds. Pathogenic microorganisms do not take root in it.
  • High moisture capacity and air permeability.
  • The content of mineral substances and organic acids (including humic acids) in the required concentration.

PG Mix – complex microgranular fertilizer. Contains macro- and microelements necessary for plant nutrition: nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, sulfuric anhydride (SO3), boron, iron, manganese, copper, molybdenum, zinc. Complies with European Union regulations.

TPS is used as a professional substrate:

  • When growing agricultural crops, seedlings of vegetable, flower crops, trees and shrubs, indoor ornamental plants. When sowing the lawn.
  • To improve the structure and nutritional value of the soil.
  • For soil mulching.

Application features

Peat nutrient substrate – a versatile product that  can be used to enrich natural soil, as well as an independent soil for greenhouses, small-scale technologies, etc.

Advantages of peat substrate:

  • Enriches depleted soil with nitrogen, potassium and other useful substances.
  • Lightweight, breathable and retains moisture, which promotes active growth and strengthening of the root system of plants.
  • Unlike the original high-moor peat, it does not need to be preliminarily limed and enriched with mineral compositions.
