Raw-pressed almond oil is made from peeled almond kernels of the highest grade using temperatureless manual pressing. This is a natural, pure product that has retained all the beneficial properties contained in the plant. It does not contain preservatives, chemical dyes and flavors.

Almond oil – vegetable fat, known for over 2000 years for its healing and rejuvenating properties. It is used in cooking, cosmetology, to maintain the beauty and youth of the body. Due to the high content of fatty acids and vitamin E, almond oil is considered a natural stimulant that improves the condition of the skin and hair.

Almond oil contains:

  • vitamins: B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, E, C, PP, beta – carotene;
  • minerals: iron, potassium, calcium, magnesium, sodium, phosphorus, zinc, etc.;
  • polyunsaturated fatty acids: Omega-6 (22%), Omega-9 (69%);
  • saturated acids: palmitic acid (6%), stearic acid (3%);

Health

When used regularly, almond oil:

  • helps in the treatment of atherosclerosis, intestinal ulcers, diseases of the gastrointestinal tract;
  • relieves mild to moderate ear pain;
  • restores cells and the acid-base balance of the skin, accelerates the healing of injuries, wounds, burns.

For external use, almond oil:

  • reduces oiliness, strengthens and restores hair after dyeing, accelerates its growth;
  • softens and moisturizes the skin, prevents its aging;
  • helps relieve irritation, prickly heat and seborrheic dermatitis in children;
  • has an anti-inflammatory effect, heals wounds, burns, relieves pain.

How to apply?

Ingestion:

For therapeutic and prophylactic purposes, almond oil can be added to salads and ready-made dishes, it will not only give them exquisite notes, but also make them more useful. You can also put a few drops of oil on slices of toasted bread – it's very tasty.

The minimum preventive course – 1 month.

External use:

  • For skin diseases, oil is rubbed into the skin, lotions and dressings are made.
  • For mild ear pain, 2-3 drops of oil are instilled into the ears.
  • For skin and hair care, oil is added to face, hand, body creams, shampoos, gels. Used as a base for making homemade masks and scrubs.

Contraindications: individual intolerance to the product.

Cooking

Almond oil has a delicate taste and aroma of lightly toasted almonds. As an ingredient, it perfectly complements fish dishes, especially trout, and gives salads, pasta and vegetable dishes a pleasant nutty note.

Important! When the oil is heated, the beneficial substances and vitamins contained in it are destroyed. Therefore, when using the product for health purposes, it is not recommended to subject it to heat treatment.

Storage conditions

Unopened, almond oil is stored for 6 months from the date of manufacture. After opening, the product must be consumed within 30 days.

It is necessary to store the oil at a temperature of +3…+6°C, avoiding direct sunlight. The refrigerator will be the best place.
