Raw-pressed poppy seed oil is made from the highest grade seeds by temperatureless manual pressing. This is a natural, pure product that has retained all the beneficial properties contained in the plant. It does not contain preservatives, chemical dyes and flavors.

Poppy oil has been known for its nourishing and healing properties since ancient times. Today – it is a rare product that is produced in small quantities.

Poppy oil contains:

  • vitamins: B1, B2, E;
  • minerals: phosphorus, calcium, sodium, potassium, zinc, selenium, copper;
  • mono- and polyunsaturated fatty acids: Omega-6 (63%), Omega-9 (19%);
  • Saturated fatty acids: palmitic acid (10%) and stearic acid (2%).

Poppy oil has a relaxing and calming effect. It has a positive effect on the functioning of the nervous system, heart and muscles. It is shown to people who are at stressful work, suffering from irritability, sleep disturbance, chronic fatigue.

When used regularly, poppy seed oil:

  • helps with vasospasm, migraine, hypertension, angina pectoris;
  • calms the nervous system, reduces stress levels;
  • restores sleep, has a mild hypnotic effect;
  • protects against free radicals;
  • improves skin condition in psoriasis and dermatitis.

When used externally, poppy oil:

  • Moisturizes and softens the skin, restores its elasticity, fights the signs of early aging, restores the lipid barrier.
  • Strengthens hair and nails, restores their structure, makes them less porous and shiny.

How to apply?

Ingestion:

As a tonic and relaxing agent - 1 tsp. in the evening or before bedtime.

The minimum exchange rate – 60 days.

External use:

For skin and hair care, oil is added to face, hand, body creams, shampoos, gels. Used as a base for making homemade masks and scrubs.

Contraindications: individual intolerance to the product.

Cooking

Poppy oil has a mild nutty flavor and a tart taste. It will ideally emphasize and enhance the taste of vegetable salads, lenten dishes, home-made canned food, fish, potatoes, bread.

Important! When the oil is heated, the beneficial substances and vitamins contained in it are destroyed. Therefore, when using the product for health purposes, it is not recommended to subject it to heat treatment.

Storage conditions

Unopened, poppy seed oil can be stored for 6 months from the date of manufacture. After opening, the product must be consumed within 30 days.

It is necessary to store the oil at a temperature of +3…+6°C, avoiding direct sunlight. The refrigerator will be the best place.
