Cornflower Terry Pink

A beautiful annual plant with an upright, highly branched stem. Inflorescences – baskets with a diameter of 5-7 cm, pink. Cornflower is cold-resistant, photophilous, very unpretentious. It develops well on poor soils containing lime. In order for the flowering to be long and abundant, in hot, dry weather, the plants must be watered. Seeds are sown immediately in a permanent place, followed by thinning, to a depth of 0.5-1 cm. Seedlings appear after 10-14 days. The optimum temperature for seedlings is + 18 ° C. Winter sowing is possible.

Cornflowers look great in flowerbeds, in mixborders. Of these, you can make borders and rabatki or planted in separate groups and arrays. They stand well in cutting, and are also a dye, medicinal and honey plant.
