An annual herbaceous plant. The flower got its name from the Latin word "mirabilis"; - amazing. It is also called the "night beauty" – bright variegated flowers bloom in the afternoon and wither the next morning. The flowers are funnel-shaped, 2.5-3.0 cm in diameter. It blooms profusely from June until frost. Mirabilis is very thermophilic and photophilous. A sunny place in the flower garden is assigned to him. It grows well on fertile, loamy soils. It is drought-resistant, but does not bloom with a lack of moisture, so watering should be moderate, but regular. Seeds for seedlings are sown from mid-March to April or in open ground in early May.
Friendly shoots appear after 4-6 days at a temperature of 18-20°C. Mirabilis tubers can be saved like dahlia tubers.
