Perennial plant. Group "Pacific hybrids". Large (5.5 cm in diameter), semi-double flowers are collected in paniculate inflorescences. Inflorescence cone-shaped, 40-50 cm long, blue flowers with a white eye. Delphiniums are photophilous, although they can tolerate a slight shadow. The soil is suitable loamy, rich in organic matter, swept wet. This almost two-meter giant requires a garter to a support so that strong wind or rain does not break heavy stems. For the winter, the plants are lightly covered with leaves. In the spring, when the shoots grow back, they are fed with nitrogen or organic fertilizers. Before flowering, every 10-14 days they are fed with complex fertilizer. Faded shoots are removed, which promotes re-blooming. Seeds for seedlings are sown in March-April or in open ground from May to July. Seedlings appear in 20-25 days, at an optimum temperature of 10°C. Friendly shoots give winter crops.
Delphiniums are suitable for mixed group plantings, good in pure varietal groups near walls, near shrubs. Well preserved in the cut.
