Snapdragon or antirrinum large is a perennial plant, grown as an annual in Siberian conditions. A rare form of hybrid snapdragon bred specifically for hanging planters and containers. The stems are strong, powerful, show themselves well in windy conditions. Flowers cover the entire plant. It blooms well in a short day, grows well, forming a flowering carpet. Saturated bright colors. Snapdragon is cold-resistant, photophilous, undemanding to soils. It does not require a lot of water, but in the dry season it needs watering. Seeds for seedlings are sown from early March to mid-April. Sow on the surface of the soil, without covering, cover with glass or film and often spray. The temperature for seed germination is 18°C, seedlings appear in 7-10 days. Seedlings are planted in the ground in mid-May. Flowering starts from the end of May and continues until the snow, especially if the seed pods are removed in a timely manner.
It is widely used in landscaping. It can be used as a ground cover and as an ampelous plant. Dragee seeds, 8-10 grains in one dragee.
