Pink large tomato

Variety of tomatoes «Pink large» – new Siberian hybrid, early ripening. Differs in big fleshy fruits and high productivity. Designed for growing in heifers.

Characteristics of the variety

The plant is not high, 110-130 cm. 4-5 ovaries are formed on each brush, from which fruits of different sizes are subsequently formed. The foliage is medium-sized, sparse.

Fruits large: average size 250-300 gr., maximum – 500-700. The color of ripe tomatoes – pink. Most of the fruit consists of dense, sweet pulp, the amount of juice and seeds is negligible, they are located in small chambers along the edges. The use of tomatoes is universal. High transportability and keeping quality of the crop allows you to transport and sell tomatoes on the market.

Productivity high – with 1 m² collect up to 22 kg of fruit. Ripening period early – 90-95 days after germination, the first ripe tomatoes appear.

Immunity. The variety is resistant to Alternapiroz and TMV. To prevent late blight, plants are sprayed with special preparations from late blight.

Growing conditions

In most Russian regions, the "Pink Large" tomato requires planting in a greenhouse except in the southern latitudes, where it can produce crops in the open field. For high productivity, it is important to ensure proper plant care, regular watering and fertilizing with a predominance of potassium and phosphorus.

Seedling selection

• Shrubs – no more than 30 cm high, branched. The stem is strong, but not thick (the diameter of a regular pencil).
• Leaves – few (6-7 pieces), whole, elastic, raised up. No wrinkling, yellowing, brown or black spots.
• Roots – shaped, moist, undamaged.
• The color of the seedlings is rich green. Pale, weak stems and leaves indicate a lack of light when growing seedlings.
• Age for landing at a permanent place – 55-60days.
