Tomato Revolution F1

A large-fruited first-generation hybrid, Revolution F1, was bred by GREENOMICA LTD (London/Moscow). With the State Register of the Russian Federation, the variety was included in 2011 with a permit for cultivation in film greenhouses without heating, on the basis of private farms throughout Russia.

Variety advantages: cold resistance, unpretentiousness in care, even attractive fruits, immunity to a complex of diseases.

Characteristics of the variety

Plant generative type, open, strong with a powerful root system. Foliage is dark green and medium in size. The inflorescence is simple, produces 5-6 fruits. The first is laid over the eighth sheet, then – through 1-2 sheets. Articulated stem.

Fruits rounded, slightly ribbed. The average weight of commercial tomatoes is 180-210 gr. Color – intense red. The pulp is juicy, medium density contains 4-6 seed nests. Peel – shiny, elastic. Taste – sweet, refreshing. Purpose of fruits: salad. Due to their high transportability and external attractiveness, tomatoes sell well on the fresh market.

Yield. Marketable yield "Revolution F1" – 12 kg/m². Ripening terms – early, 85-95 days after emergence.

Immune to mosaic virus, verticile and fusarium wilt, cladosporiosis. Medium resistance to bacterial blotch.

Growing conditions

Tomato variety "Revolution F1" recommended for growing in the 1st-2nd turnover of spring film greenhouses and in the 2nd turnover of glass greenhouses.

The plant is unpretentious in care, calmly reacts to lowering and daily temperature changes. The fruits are formed and ripen in any conditions.

To get an earlier harvest, the bush is formed into one stem, keeping an additional replacement stepchild.

Seedling selection

Before you buy Revolution F1 tomato seedlings, inspect it carefully.

A quality healthy seedling:

• Shrubs – 30-35 cm high, branched. The stem is strong, but not thick (the diameter of a regular pencil).
• Leaves – few (6-7 pieces), whole, elastic, raised up. No wrinkling, yellowing, brown or black spots.
• Roots – shaped, moist, undamaged.
• The color of the seedlings is rich green. Pale, weak stems and leaves indicate a lack of light when growing seedlings.
• Age for landing at a permanent place – 50-60 days.
