Raspberry variety «Orange Miracle» bred by Russian breeders I. Kazakov and S. Evdokimenko, employees of the Federal State Budget Scientific Institution of the Federal Scientific Center for Horticulture (Moscow). In 2009, the variety was included in the State Register of the Russian Federation. Suitable for cultivation throughout Russia, including areas of risky farming.

Variety features

Plantpowerful, tall – up to 1.8 m. Medium spreading bush with good shoot-forming ability. The branches are thorny, light brown in color with a wax coating. Bent under the weight of the harvest – requires a garter to the trellis. The foliage is wrinkled, twisted with sharp teeth, slightly pubescent.

Fruitslarge, elongated conical shape with a rounded top. The average weight of berries is 5.5-10 gr., the maximum – 12 gr.

The color of ripe raspberries is bright orange. Peel – shiny with a slight fluff. Pulp – tender, juicy, fragrant. There is a slight sourness in the taste. Tasting assessment – 4 points out of 5.

Purpose: the variety is suitable for fresh consumption, canning. The orange miracle sells well on the market due to its good transportability, presentation, unusual color and taste of berries.

Productivity of the variety Orange Miracle, subject to the agrotechnics – 4-4.5 kg per bush, up to 155 q/ha. Ripening terms average – the first ripe berries appear in early July. The second wave of maturation is August-early September. To get the maximum yield, some gardeners prefer to grow the variety as an annual.

Immunity to diseases and pests at the level of standard varieties. Weak resistance to gray rot.

Growing conditions. The raspberry variety Orange miracle is resistant to heat, drought, cold. It tolerates temperature changes well. Recommended for cultivation in almost all climatic zones.
