Peat soils (series) vegetable series

The VASKhNiL nursery offers to buy nutrient soil for greenhouses based on high-moor peat from environmentally friendly peat deposits in the Smolensk and Sverdlovsk regions.

Greenhouse soil

A ready-made nutrient mixture of peat and a complex of fertilizers for use as a micro-greenhouse, as well as for complete or partial soil replacement in a greenhouse. The universal composition of the soil is suitable for growing any plants – vegetables, berries, flowers, etc.

Composition:

  • Mixture of peat of varying degrees of decomposition.
  • Limestone flour – acid neutralizer.
  • Azophoska – complex nitrogen-phosphorus-potassium fertilizer.
  • Agroperlite – fertilizer from volcanic rock.

Nutritional content:

(in plant-friendly form)

  • Nitrogen (NH4 + N03) ≤120 mg/l
  • Phosphorus (P2O5) ≤140 mg/l
  • Potassium (K2O) ≤220 mg/l

Application

Growing seedlings like a micro-greenhouse

The bag with peat soil is shaken well and placed horizontally on a pallet. Several  holes (2x2cm) are cut in the upper part of the package for sowing seeds. From below, incisions are made 3 cm long at an angle of 45°; for drainage. The soil is poured through the holes. Then seeds are sown in the formed holes or seedlings are planted.

The plastic bag turns into a micro-greenhouse. The peat soil in it warms up well and remains moist longer, creating a favorable climate for the growth and development of seedlings.

Basic dressing

Nutritious peat soil is brought into the soil by beds, greenhouses, flower beds, etc. at the rate of 5-10 liters. per 1 m². Or use instead of regular soil.
