An annual plant. Early flowering and compact bush. The inflorescences are terry, chrysanthemum-shaped, 3-5 cm in diameter. Marigolds are unpretentious, fast-growing, drought-resistant and light-loving plants, but they tolerate slight shading, so they can decorate areas on the north side of buildings. They bloom 2-2.5 months after sowing, and flowering lasts until severe frosts. Seeds for seedlings are sown in early April or May in open ground. At a temperature of 16-18°C shoots appear in 10-14 days. Plant in the ground when the threat of frost has passed. Marigolds harmoniously look in any flower beds. They can be used in containers and baskets, planted in balcony boxes. In addition, marigolds have a sanitary effect on the soil.
Good and long stand in the cut. Marigold inflorescences can be dried and used for winter arrangements with dried flowers.
