Annual, highly branched plant that forms very compact bushes. At the ends of the shoots are small flowers collected in racemose inflorescences. Flowers with a strong honey aroma. Alyssum is unpretentious, cold-resistant and drought-resistant. It grows best on poor, neutral, fairly dry soils. Light-requiring, when shading blooms worse and loses compactness. If the flowering of plants has stopped, they must be cut at a height of 5 cm, watered well and fed with a solution of complex fertilizers. After 1.5-2 weeks, secondary flowering will begin.
Seeds for seedlings are sown from mid-March to the end of April. With the seedless method, the seeds are sown immediately to a permanent place at the end of April — early May, winter crops are possible. At a temperature of 15-18°C shoots appear in 4-10 days. They are planted in flowerbeds, flower beds, in carpet flower beds and for landscaping balconies. Low compact borders are made from it, perfectly shading other plants.
