An annual plant, the first hybrid to be used as a cut flower. Powerful plant with strong and numerous lateral shoots. The flowers are larger, bright blue in color, long kept in the cut. Ageratum is drought-resistant, photophilous, but can tolerate slight shading. Prefers loamy fertile non-acidic soils, without fresh manure. If the seedlings are overstretched, then the plants can be pinched, leaving 2-3 internodes. In dry weather, watering is necessary, and in wet weather – shallow loosening of the soil around the plants. Seeds for seedlings are sown in March-April. Shoots appear in 10-15 days. At a temperature of 18-21°C, flowering occurs 60-70 days after germination. Adds height and volume to park areas. It branches well, filling the space in flower beds.

Suitable for growing in home gardens in mixborders and for cutting.
