Productivityof sea buckthorn «Clavdia» high, 9-11 kg per bush. The culture bears fruit annually from the fourth year after planting. Harvest ripening – later, in the second half of August.

Immunity. Resistant to sea buckthorn fly. It is rarely affected by other pests and diseases.

Growing conditions. Sea buckthorn variety «Clavdia» self-fertile. For the formation of ovaries from the leeward side planted "male" pollinating varieties «Gnome» or «Alei».

The plant is frost-resistant, at temperatures up to –45°C winters under the snow cover without freezing. The shrub is shade-tolerant, but at the same time light-requiring, so it is worth choosing a sunny area for planting sea buckthorn seedlings.

Tip: To distinguish "feminine" sea buckthorn seedlings from "male", pay attention to the shape and size of the buds. In pollinating varieties, they are much larger and contain 7 covering scales, while "female" only 2.
