Juniper virginian Hetz (Hetz) – evergreen shrub of the cypress family, originally from North America.

Variety advantages: frost-resistant, does not require frequent pruning, suitable for an urban environment.

Appearance. Shrub up to 2.5 meters in height, with a dense spreading crown, up to 4 meters in diameter. The first 9 years of life juniper grows rapidly – up to 30 cm per year. Further, annual growth slows down – up to 10 cm. To maintain the shape of the crown, the bush has to be cut periodically

Hetz needles – gray-blue color, with a pronounced juniper aroma. Young needles resemble scales, which with age turn into soft, non-prickly needles.

Juniper fruits look like small cones, a beautiful dark blue hue with a bluish bloom. Important! The berries are poisonous, inedible and serve only as a decorative element of the shrub.

Application. Virginia mHetz Juniper does not lose its attractive appearance and unusual smoky blue color all year round.

The plant does not like – waterlogging and stagnant water.
