Tomato variety Kronprinz – the result of the work of the famous Russian breeder L. A. Myazina. In the State Sortreestr of the Russian Federation "Kron Prince" introduced in 2002 with a permit for cultivation in horticultural, household and small farms; in protected and open ground.

Characteristics of the variety

Plant determinate, 0.7-1.4 m tall, needs a garter. Be sure to pinch in one stem. The foliage is dark green, large. Inflorescences – intermediate, the first is formed over the 6-7 sheet, the rest – every 1-2 sheets. Articulated stem.

Fruits flat-round shape, leveled, medium size – 120-250 gr. Peel – elastic, smooth. Pulp – juicy, aromatic, tasty. The color of ripe tomatoes – bright red; immature – light green with darkening at the stem. The fruits do not crack.

"Kronprinz" refers to varieties of universal purpose. Suitable for fresh consumption, salads, first and second courses, canning, salting.

Productivityof marketable fruits subject to agricultural technology 3.5-3.8 kg/m², up to 5 kg – from a bush, 15-20 fruits from one brush. The ripening of tomatoes begins at 95-105 days from the moment of germination.

Growing conditions.

Variety of tomatoes «Kronprinz» gives a harvest even under adverse weather conditions. Tomatoes can be grown both in open and protected ground.

• Prince Crowns are planted outside the greenhouse in a sunny area, protected from winds and stagnant moisture.
• It is necessary to plant seedlings in soil warmed up to at least + 12 ° C to a depth of 10-15 cm. If there is a threat of return frosts, young bushes must be covered for the night.
• The recommended distance between the bushes in a row is 40-50 cm. Planting density is 3-4 plants per 1m². Bushes need a garter and pinching.
• Basic care: Watering with warm water 1-2 times a week. Mandatory loosening after watering. Regular weed removal. Top dressing with microelements once a month (spraying 2-3 hours after watering). Preventive treatment against pests.
