Tomato Amigo F1

The hybrid of the first generation Amigo F1 was developed by GREENOMICA LTD (London/Moscow). In 2018, the variety was included in the State Sort Register of the Russian Federation and approved for cultivation under film shelters on the basis of personal subsidiary farms (LPS) in all regions of Russia.

Variety advantages: original color, taste and commercial attractiveness of fruits, stable growth, regular development of racemes.

Characteristics of the variety

Plant semi-vegetative type, with a powerful, developed root system. The leaves are dark green, medium to large in size, arranged horizontally. The inflorescence is simple with articulation, the first is tied over the 9-10th leaf, then – every three. 5-6 fruits are formed on the brush.

Fruits rounded, slightly ribbed, slightly flattened at the poles (shape index 0.8-0.9). Average weight – 160-220 gr. Amigo F1 tomatoes differ from other varieties in an unusual color: chocolate skin, dark cherry or red-brown pulp with a high content of lycopene. The fruits are dense, tasty, transportable, resistant to shedding. Segment: fresh market. Direction: salad.

Productivity Amigo 9.3-10 kg/m². The ripening dates of tomatoes are early, at 85-95 days from the moment of germination.

Immuneto Tomato Mosaic Virus, Cladosporiosis, Verticile and Fusarium wilt.

Growing conditions. The variety is grown in the first and second turns of film greenhouses.

Seedling selection

Before you buy seedlings of Amigo F1 tomatoes, inspect it carefully.

A quality healthy seedling:

• Shrubs – 30-35 cm high, branched. The stem is strong, but not thick (the diameter of a regular pencil).
• Leaves – few (6-7 pieces), whole, elastic, raised up. No wrinkling, yellowing, brown or black spots.
• Roots – shaped, moist, undamaged.
• The color of the seedlings is rich green. Pale, weak stems and leaves indicate a lack of light when growing seedlings.
• Age for landing at a permanent place – 50-60 days.
